Mark has been a licensed, full-time Realtor since 1999. He enjoys all aspects of Real Estate but really likes serving buyers and sellers during the stressful events surrounding the real estate transaction. “Home Buyers need a lot of resources during the real estate transaction and I can provide them with referrals and my experience/advice every step of the way”, Mark says. Mark has a background in construction and is a self diagnosed “do it yourselfer”. Helping Home Sellers is a challenge in any market. Knowing the market and what sells is critical. He has a Home Selling Program provides Sellers to help them get ready to sell. He also has extensive knowledge of the market to help price the property accurately. “All the staging and prep are wasted if the property isn’t priced right”, he says. Mistwood Properties
Mistwood Properties was established in June 2011. Mark has worked at some of the largest Real Estate Brokerages in Colorado Springs. In June 2011 he opened Mistwood Properties to provide his clients with added service. “At the large brokerages I worked at before, I was not allowed to provide Property Management Services to my clients”, he says. Mark has owned and managed his owned rentals for years. Mistwood Properties now manages Rental Properties for clients. “The addition of Property Management has been a good one for the Brokerage and for my clients. My experience in managing rentals has been valuable for my clients and I am continually adding rental inventory”, Mark says.

Mark has a Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology. What’s that, you say? It’s a degree that focused on the science of Cardiac Rehabilitation and Corporate Wellness Programming. Mark worked at The Boeing Company from 1991-1998 in their corporate wellness program. From 1998-1999 he worked at Merck & Co. as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. In 1999 the family moved back to Colorado Springs to be closer to family. Mark always had an interest in Real Estate so he jumped right in to Real Estate Sales. Mark is a native of Colorado Springs and has had family in Colorado since the 1860’s. Mark is married with two children. His children attend school in the Academy School District. Mark is active in his church, playing on the worship team and is in a rock-n-roll band. Yes, he’s the Rock-n-Roll Realtor!
